I am Rosy Altagracia Belén, director and founder of this project.

This project was born in my heart in 2016, out of a desire to serve and contribute to the growth of my community in Doña Ana, a municipal district in the municipality of Yaguate, in the province of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic. After much meditation and prayer, the Lord spoke to me through revelations (dreams), where He told me: “It’s time to lay the foundation; when you do, call me.” These were some of the words revealed, among others.

I began knocking on different doors and felt I wasn’t having any luck. It was then that I shared my concerns with a pastor, and his words were: “Persist in prayer.” He repeated this phrase to me every time we met.

Even so, everything seemed difficult and impossible. It was then that Pastor Padilla, who encouraged me to pray, told me he would put me in touch with someone who partnered with ministries to work with children. I contacted Toni by phone, and we began a conversation in which he asked me what motivated me to work with children, among other questions.

Time passed, and I didn't receive any further information, until one day we decided to visit the Compassion office, where we were received by Brother Abraham, who gave us a ray of hope.

In 2018, the CDI (Comprehensive Missionary Development Center for the Future) was founded. For eight years, it has been working to support children and our community. Doña Ana is a municipal district within the municipality of Yaguate, in the province of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, with the support of Compassion. God has been our anchor, and today we have 320 participants enjoying the joy and blessing of this beautiful reality.
